Platypus Bay is an easy 30 minute return walk from Watersmeet Bridge. Combining an early morning or late afternoon walk with the observation of one of world’s most interesting creatures makes for a rare encounter. Located just 2.5 hours from Hobart and Strahan on the Lyell Highway (3 hours from Launceston) it is an easy drive to an incomparable experience.
